This is what e-mountain bikers have been waiting for: The HYBRID series wheels are completely designed for the special requirements of electrically supported MTBs. The newly designed rims have reinforcements in the area of the spoke holes, but could be weight-optimized elsewhere. Three widths (25, 30 and 35 mm) ensure maximum traction and comfort for every application.
The hubs have been reinforced as a whole and can easily handle the highest torques: large dimensions and with higher wall thicknesses, heavy-duty axles, large ball bearings, steel freewheel bodies, 24T toothed discs made of hardened steel, and like the rims with reinforced spoke holes. The minimal additional weight increases the permissible system weight to an impressive 150 kg (except for HXC 1200). The HYBRID system is rounded off with specially reinforced straight pull spokes and Pro Lock Squorx Pro Head nipples. The new wheelsets were tested in every respect under tougher conditions: with more tension on the spokes, more torque, more load, more life cycles.
