The CLIMA X2 is a waterproof and breathable all-mountain shoe that doesn't give in even in adverse riding conditions.
Because the seasons change and the trails can be wet and muddy long after the rain, every off-road rider needs a shoe that can handle all conditions - to keep the ride going, uphill and downhill, dry or wet terrain, both on on the bike and outside. Clima X2 is ready for all this and more, three seasons of the year.
The design of the Clima X2 allows it to adapt to these conditions. It features a waterproof liner that also allows moisture vapor to escape, regulating temperature and improving comfort. The outside of the upper protects against the elements: the multi-layer, durable ripstop fabric is tear and tear resistant. A PU laminated toe cap and side reinforcements provide additional protection and durability, while the integrated sock-knit gaiter keeps out dust and dirt.
The robust Velcro fastener fastens the instep quickly and securely, while the BOA-controlled adjustment provides a micro-adjustable fit for the forefoot area.
The X2 outsole expresses the versatility of these shoes: it is designed to provide an optimal balance between efficient pedaling performance and flexibility for comfort and control on and off the bike.
The compressed EVA midsole provides stability and cushioning, while the Vibram Megagrip rubber tread provides grip and traction regardless of the conditions underfoot.
The directional cleat pattern is designed for secure footing on clipless pedals. The spacing and depth are designed to bite into softer ground and a compound ideal for gripping on smooth rocks.
X2 features an extended cleat track with more offset and greater flexibility in choosing cleat placement.
