The LUMOTEC IQ Cyo R also offers optimized near-field illumination. The near field describes the area from approximately one to four meters in front of the bicycle. This area remains more or less dark with all available headlights, which have their brightest point at a distance of around 10 meters. The LUMOTEC IQ Cyo is only available as standard with an electronic parking light, which can be switched off using the integrated rotary switch; after all, it is not intended to show the way to potential bicycle thieves. The LUMOTEC IQ Cyo is available in two versions, both with an integrated front reflector (which is mandatory on bicycles in Germany) with close-field illumination up to 40 lux, and in the sports version with clear glass design, without front reflector, up to 60 lux . Models with sensor technology have an 8-second delay. This means that passing cars or street lamps cannot turn off the headlights with their lights. But the LUMOTEC IQ Cyo also impresses in terms of design with its unmistakable and exclusively designed housing. This season, in addition to the previous black casing color, there is a new look that makes the Cyo even more attractive: the special chrome-plated casing impresses with an elegant aluminum look. The headlight not only corresponds to the retro trend, it also allows the lighting system to be integrated discreetly into a corresponding bicycle frame.
