The rubber mixture ensures a service life that is in no way inferior to that of a front tire.
It is also perfectly tailored for mounting on modern wheels with large rim widths and is tubeless ready.
The LITE version shines with lower rolling resistance and reduced weight.
Grip
Unique to PIRELLI Scorpion mountain bike tires is a continuous layer of Smart Grip Compound. The advantage is that the high performance of the studs is maintained even after a longer period of use. This ensures uncompromising traction, both in dry and wet ground conditions.

The Scorpion R 2.2 is equipped with a flexible 120 TPI TUBE-LESS READY carcass. This offers optimal stability and traction, even at low tire pressures.
The Scorpion R 2.4 has a stable 60 TPI TUBELESS READY casing. This offers optimal stability and traction, even at low tire pressures.
