The Ignite SLX is the top model in our hardtail cross-country mountain bike range.
This MTB features a highly sophisticated carbon structure, which is the key to achieving such amazing riding characteristics that you will feel from the first pedal stroke. At the front end of the bike we use high tensile strength Toray Carbon. At the rear we opted for a different carbon layup to maximize vertical flex. The increased steering angle (trail) ensures an extra stable driving experience. Our research and development has also given the seatstays an asymmetrical, oval shape to maximize rigidity. We don't leave a single watt unused!
The result is an Ignite SLX MTB that is light, stiff and agile. Take these flowing singletracks and steep slopes faster than anyone... for victory!
Our Ignite hardtail mountain bikes are extremely lightweight and offer incredibly responsive handling, so you always feel like you're in full control of the bike. You turn singletrack into your personal playing field, where paths appear like streams on which you move effortlessly. The effective power transfer through built-in strength ensures that you ride very efficiently, which you especially feel when you hit steep hills and leave your sports friends far behind you.
The bikes in our Ignite range include both carbon and aluminum hardtails, from race-ready world championship bikes (e.g. for cyclo-cross and marathon races) to those that you can ride from local trails pure pleasure.
