ALFINE is the top component group for the city/touring sector, which is characterized by a stylish design and gear hubs with a wide range of gradations. Di2 stands for “Digital Integrated Intelligence” and allows you to change gears very easily “at the push of a button”. The switch sends an electronic signal to the gear hub, which then immediately carries out the desired gear change.
The Alfine SG-S705 11-speed electronic gear hub ensures that gear changes are carried out quickly and precisely. The optionally available MU-S705 11-speed shift motor and the optional CS-S500 pinion are required for operation. With Centerlock brake disc mount and also suitable for V-brakes thanks to the dust cap.
To ensure that the electronic Di2 drive system functions properly, the individual components require the same firmware version . The firmware can be read or updated using the optionally available diagnostic device. Operating components with different firmware versions can lead to malfunctions or functional failure.
