The SHIMANO Deore XT 12-speed derailleur chain CN-M8100 was designed for the special HYPERGLIDE+ tooth profile of the SHIMANO 12-speed chainrings. DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT+ (DCE+) is the magic word, in which the interaction of particularly narrow and slightly elongated inner plates of the chain and the changing tooth profile of the chainrings leads to excellent chain guidance on rough terrain and very low running noise.
