The S-Works Stumpjumper EVO is not just a trail bike. No, it's a true shred machine built to rock the craziest trails. Rocks, roots, jumps, drops - no problem for the EVO. With its completely new design, from S-sizing with adjustable head tube angle to 150 mm of travel, this thing is the absolute trail weapon.
- Even the greatest suspension travel is useless without the right kinematics, which is why we put them at the forefront when developing the Stumpjumper EVO design. Using lessons learned from Enduro suspension design and more than 1,000 hours of development on the trail and in the suspension lab, we have significantly improved uphill pedaling performance while creating a powerful, efficient and lively bike that every biker craves. In addition, the anti-squat behavior has been increased so that the chassis resists rocking better. Angular obstacles are now swallowed better, meaning less speed is lost.
- The S-Sizing geometry of the Stumpjumper EVO is our most progressive yet. Long, low, flat, a fork with little offset, a steeper seat tube angle - all of this makes your ride a better experience. However, different riders have different bike requirements, which is why the Stumpjumper EVO's geometry is fully customizable with six different settings. Not only can the bottom bracket height be adjusted by 10 mm, but also the head tube by up to two degrees. If you want to drive a 27.5" rear wheel in conjunction with a 29" front wheel with the EVO - no problem, there is the perfect setting for that too.
- Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a frame size dependent approach to keep ride characteristics identical across all sizes. Regardless of whether you are a small S1 rider or a giant on the S6 bike - the driving characteristics remain the same. Cornering like on rails and balanced rigidity between the front and rear wheels - all this with the lowest possible weight.
- SWAT™: When we introduced the SWAT™ Box on the Stumpjumper in 2016, we increased the storage space and now had enough space for puncture protection equipment. With the new Stumpjumper we kept the same design features, but increased the volume and added a SWAT™ bladder that allows you to hide an additional 650ml of water in your downtube. Yes, the bladder is the same size as a small bottle.
- We introduced the SWAT™ door on the Stumpjumper in 2016, adding room IN your frame for those “oh sh**t” necessities like pumps and spare tubes, and immediately rendering jersey pockets redundant. With the new Stumpjumper, we have increased the volume and added a SWAT™ Bladder, giving you an extra 22oz of water storage – the same size as a small water bottle – hidden in your downtube.
