More options, shifting on a new level - the X01 Eagle rear derailleur has an improved architecture for optimized chain guidance. The X01 Eagle rear derailleur was built to work with the new 10-52 tooth cassettes, but is still fully backwards compatible with 10-50. Part of the Eagle color system, it will match any chain and cassette color you choose.

Cage Lock
Thanks to the Cage Lock technology in the rear derailleur, removing and installing the rear wheel and installing the chain are quicker and easier than ever. Simply push the cage forward (to release the chain tension) and lock it.

Roller Bearing Clutch
Roller Bearing Clutch rear derailleurs offer maximum drive stability - even on grueling and highly demanding terrain. Roller Bearing Clutch technology puts an end to wobbling rear derailleurs and banging chains - without sacrificing precision.

X ACTUATION
The X-ACTUATION technology developed specifically for SRAM 1x ensures precise and constant shifting along the entire cassette.

X HORIZON
The parallelogram design of the X-HORIZON rear derailleur limits movement along the horizontal axis, eliminating so-called “ghost shifting” and at the same time reducing shifting force. For faster and more precise shifting, the large offset of the upper pulley ensures a constant chain distance in every gear.

X SYNC
X-SYNC 1X chainrings from SRAM ensure maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-SYNC tooth edges grip the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile as well as the rounded sloping edges support the chain guide. To provide the best possible performance even on muddy terrain, the X-SYNC chainrings have recesses for the inner chain links and rollers to remove dirt and mud. The German-made X-SYNC chainrings are an important part of SRAM's 1X drivetrain.
