SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS Upgrade Kit 1x12
With the XX1 Eagle AXS Upgrade Kit you can upgrade your mechanical SRAM Eagle 12-speed groupset to the electronic Eagle AXS wireless shifting system. With water and dust resistance according to the IP69K standard, the Eagle AXS group is ideal for use in adverse conditions. The battery status can be checked simply by pressing a button on the rear derailleur before setting off. With just one hour of charging time, the bike will be ready for use again in no time. In addition, the battery can be replaced with just one hand. Important for lightweight builders: Despite the integrated motor and battery, the XX1 Eagle AXS group is 5 grams lighter than the mechanical XX1 Eagle group.
Controllers
The shift cable, which was no longer needed, gave SRAM engineers completely new options when designing the shifter. With its 3 switching points, the AXS Controller offers a completely new switching experience. The switching points can be freely configured using the AXS app. There is also a sprint shifter on the front of the handlebars that can be operated without removing a finger from the grip.
Rear derailleur
The Eagle AXS rear derailleur is the brain of the groupset and was specially developed for optimal shifting performance with an electric motor. Shifting under load and on rough surfaces now works even more precisely. This gives you even more confidence in the bike under extreme load and you can concentrate exclusively on the trail. The new overload clutch provides better protection for the rear derailleur in the event of a fall. It briefly decouples the rear derailleur under extreme loads so that it can avoid the load and the electric motor is protected from damage. However, the rear derailleur immediately jumps back into the selected gear. As an extremely positive side effect, the rear derailleur suspension and derailleur hanger are also better protected in the event of a fall. In addition, a 10 millimeter shorter rear derailleur arm protects the rear derailleur from contact with the ground. For more chain wrap and therefore better shifting performance, the parallelogram has slipped a little further forward.
